Erth at Enlighten Festival

Join Canberra Youth Theatre and Erth for a roving performance at Enlighten Festival 2024

Would you like to perform at Enlighten Festival? Get some seriously impressive puppetry skills? And work with an incredibly cool international arts company. Well lucky you, we’re joining forces with Erth at Enlighten Festival, and we’re looking for young artists to get involved!

This roving performance incorporating Erth’s legendary magical puppet creatures is a FREE opportunity that’s open to our whole community, — everyone age 7–25.

Performances will be 1–11 March at Civic Square from 5–10pm (but for younger members of community, finish time will be 8pm or earlier). You don’t have to be available for all of the performances. Give it a try for a night or two as part of the team!

All performers are volunteers, and to be a performer you have to go to at least one of the training sessions, which will take place 26, 27, and 28 Feb, 5–7pm.

There will be a Canberra Youth Theatre staff member present at all times providing duty of care for under 18s. All our young artists who were involved as part of last year’s festival had a brilliant time. We guarantee, you will too.
