Years 4–6 Ensemble

Explore the foundations of theatre-making and performance.

Years 4-6

Young Artists begin to extend their creative skills, delving into more formal script work, and a more diverse array of performance styles. This ensemble provides young people with a space to express themselves, develop acting skills, and share their stories.

Working with professional theatre artists, young artists develop their skills in:

  • Improvisation
  • Creating characters
  • Devising
  • Voice
  • Movement
  • Collaboration
  • Creative thinking
  • Script Writing
  • Acting Techniques

The 4–6 Ensemble enables young artists to find their voice and confidence as they begin to build formal skills in acting, and develop their personal creative identity.

Parent Testimony
The care you showed the kids, and the commitment to their development and experience: just exceptional. The experience of it will have a significant influence on all the kids, and we will see it not just now, but well into their futures, no matter what they choose to do with them. It has had several positive impacts – an increase in confidence, willingness to ‘have a go’ at things, a sense of ‘I can do this!’
