Kristy Griffin Member
Kristy Griffin is dedicated to both the theatre sector and the Canberra region and is an advocate for youth engagement and leadership in the arts, previously serving as program leader for Creative Learning & Young Audiences at Canberra Theatre Centre. She is currently the Assistant Director (Creative & Engagement) of the National Multicultural Festival.
Kristy holds a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre, a Grad. Dip. Ed, and a MA in Arts & Cultural Management, and is a graduate of Brent Street Studios and LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore).
Kristy’s career has spanned several award-winning roles performing in professional touring theatre, major theme parks and commercial performances as well as choreography, direction, education, programming and producing.
Kristy has worked with Melbourne Cabaret Festival, AKA Australia, Disney, Singapore Repertory Theatre, Universal Studios Singapore among many others. As an educator, Kristy has been a faculty member at prestigious performing arts training institutions as well as an in-school arts education from early learning through to tertiary training. She is also the state choreographer for the Australian Girls Choir (ACT). Kristy’s governance experience extends to several peak arts organisations including Drama Victoria.
