Our Drama Workshops offer a dynamic space for young people to deepen their theatre-making practice. Through practical skill-building, creative experimentation, and ensemble collaboration, young artists develop their expressive tools and artistic voice while creating, imagining, and playing together each week.
Young artists:
- Develop acting, movement, improvisation, and voice skills
- Build creative confidence and artistic independence
- Collaborate, experiment, and form friendships in a supportive peer ensemble
These workshops provide the perfect space to begin your Canberra Youth Theatre journey, keep growing your skills, or prepare to audition for our Ensemble semester.
Term 1 and 4 workshops conclude with a studio-based ‘open workshop’ where families and friends join us in the studio to participate in activities and experience what the group has created across the term.
