Years 10 – 12

We offer both a Theatre Ensemble and a Screen Ensemble for artists in these year groups. See below for details.

Theatre Ensemble

Our senior theatre ensemble will delve further into the theatrical process and discover sophisticated acting techniques and theatre making styles. This program is ideal for dedicated drama students looking to spend a semester exploring a variety of acting methodologies and theatre making practices. Participants will develop skills in performance, devising, stagecraft, monologues and scene work, perform scenes from existing plays, and collaborate together to create their own work.

This workshop will be delivered in line with government social distancing requirements and our COVIDsafe plan.

Screen Ensemble

Discover the essentials of acting for the screen. Actors will build confidence performing to the camera using film and television scripts to shoot a scene, watch it back and analyse their performance. This weekly workshop will explore acting techniques to create authentic characters, analyse a scene, and develop an understanding of on-set technical skills, such as camera angles, eyelines and marks. Actors will apply these skills to the unique challenge of acting for the screen in an engaging and supportive environment.

This workshop will be delivered in line with government social distancing requirements and our COVIDsafe plan.
