31 March 2017 I’m Me Festival 2017

A twilight performance festival for 7 – 12 year olds! This festival will explore new ways to make and stage theatre whilst celebrating “being me”. Seven brand new works will be presented on this evening, delving into dance theatre, roving comedy, physical poetry, musical theatre, immersive art and invisible theatre. Each work will stem from a “word” in some way and will be created by its cast and director.

The evening will run for four hours with the works being performed on a rotational basis so that all of the audience has the opportunity to see everything. Le Breton Crepes will be selling delicious food, and the evening will conclude with an outdoor dance party around the magically lit tree in the courtyard! The I’m Me Festival is supported by Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres and the Capital Arts Patrons’ Organisation (CAPO) Awards
