ACT Youth Week

12 Hour Theatre Project

How much can you achieve in a single day? Find out in ACT Youth Week when Canberra Youth Theatre puts creative youth to the test. During a 12 hour period young people will come together to create, collaborate and devise a new piece of theatre. The 12 Hour Theatre Project combines fun, improvisation and spontaneity as well as professionalism and personal development. During the space of a day young people will create and rehearse a 10 minute theatre work which will be performed at the end of the day to the local community.

If you’re aged 7-25 and keen to be involved, you need to be available from 9am – 9pm on Saturday 28 March. Fill our the EOI form here by Friday 13 March 5pm:

2020 Multicultural Festival

The Cubby House of Tales

22 & 23 FEBRUARY
Roll the dice and see the story unfold… The Cubby House of Tales is an interactive experience made up of stories from diverse local communities. Engage with roving performers around the festival or come inside our cubby house and hear a tale from our young performers – but expect the unexpected. As multicultural children would understand, sometimes stories can get muddled up, but they are all connected, as are we.
